1. Canned foods. These foods contain lots of added sodium to preserve the food, which can be harmful to the body, elevating your blood pressure.

3. Microwaveable foods. These foods are extremely convenient, which always “contain tons of added salt.”

4. Fried foods. Dr. Price strongly advises to stay away from fried foods, because it causes inflammation inside of the lining of the blood vessels.

5. Condiments. Condiments can come in very handy when dining out, but they normally contain a lot of sodium and sugar.

6. Fast food. Dr. Price says, “You eat fast food fast, but you’re ‘gonna die’ slow!” Fast food can lead to hypertension, high cholesterol, diabetes, heart disease, and eventually death.

7. Salted nuts. Salted nuts can be an excellent snack, but “be careful” because the high amounts of sodium is harmful to your body.
